Kontrollfeld is a Berlin-based agency for binary media. The company builds and operates AI and automation systems for mid-sized businesses and public-sector clients — self-hosted, auditable and fully code-reviewed.
Long
Kontrollfeld GmbH is a Berlin-based agency for binary media. It has been building digital systems for two decades; today those are mainly RAG systems for company knowledge, MCP servers, single sign-on with Keycloak, and software and systems architecture. The standard has not changed: what we hand over has to run in production, not in a presentation. Kontrollfeld operates the systems it sells — self-hosted, auditable and fully code-reviewed.
Logo
The primary mark is the wordmark kontrollfeld_. The circuit-trace symbol sits beside it, not in front of it: it is the icon for favicon, avatar and app tile, not a part of the wordmark. Please never combine the two into a single lockup.
In every SVG the type has been converted to outlines — the files need no IBM Plex installation and render identically everywhere. SVG is the first choice for print; the PNGs are for office documents, email signatures and anything that will not take an SVG.

Wordmark
The primary mark. First choice wherever the context is already clear.
Wordmark with German claim
For German-language contexts where the brand has to introduce itself.
Wordmark with English claim
Same mark, English claim. Never use both language versions side by side.
Symbol
Icon use only: favicon, avatar, app tile. Not part of the wordmark.
Colours and typeface
The palette is called “Tinte & Kobalt” — ink and cobalt: a near-black anthracite as the ink, one saturated blue as the only accent. The brand has no other colours.
The underscore in the wordmark always carries the accent colour, except in the single-colour versions. It is not an ornament: in the site header the wordmark is a working input line, and the underscore is its cursor.
Who to ask
Press enquiries are answered by the managing directors themselves — there is no press office in between.
